My name is Rick, and I enjoy working with technology, especially building solutions that help businesses to accomplish their operational and strategic goals.

I have been working professionally in Information Technology for many years and have served in various roles throughout my career. Most recently, I am serving in an IT leadership role, which allows me the privilege to lead a fantastic team of product managers and engineers, and influence technology decisions. My goal is to move into a senior leadership role in the next few years, working alongside C-Suite leaders in a mission-driven organization.

Serving in a leadership capacity has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my IT career thus far. Many organizations have challenges in leveraging technology to differentiate their services or accelerate their growth. These companies often see technology as an operational need required to keep the business running rather than a strategic opportunity. As a result, I find that helping these organizations apply technology to achieve ambitious goals is where I enjoy spending most of my time professionally.

Moreover, you will find articles on automating tasks through various techniques, including scripting, programming, and services available on the web. In doing so, I hope to continue improving my knowledge and expertise while sharing my learnings with you.
